Master Software Testing & Test Automation

Software Testing Jobs – 08/31/2026

Here are the top 7 software testing jobs for 31-Aug.

Seven roles made the final cut this run. All are full time, all pass the employer trust check, all links were checked at report time and loaded without a login wall.

A note on freshness before the list: most boards do not expose a precise post timestamp through search. Where I could not confirm an exact date, I am saying so plainly rather than guessing at “24 hours.” None of the seven below carried a verifiable exact timestamp from the source, so each is marked accordingly.

1. Coupang — Staff SDET

Location: Hyderabad, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Not specified by source
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Architects test automation frameworks spanning web, API, mobile, and backend, not a single-surface role
– Uses AI and ML to improve automation efficiency, a live mandate rather than a buzzword on this one
– Builds shared, scalable test infrastructure alongside engineering, not bolted on after the fact
– Mentors junior SDETs and QA engineers on coding standards and automation practice
– Requires 10+ years in software development and test automation, degree in CS or related field
– Languages: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript

Why This One Stands Out: This is a Staff-level bar, meaning Coupang is hiring someone to set direction for quality across teams, not just execute test plans. The AI/ML mandate inside the JD is specific and operational, not decorative. For a senior SDET in Hyderabad, this is one of the few listings this run with real architectural scope attached to the title.

2. TJX Companies — Staff Engineer (Quality/Test Automation Engineer)

Location: Hyderabad, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Not specified by source
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Sits inside TJX India’s Enterprise Business Technology team, supporting the systems behind TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods
– Staff-level ownership of quality and test automation strategy for enterprise platforms
– Works across functional, regression, and integration testing at retail scale
– Experience required: senior/staff band, typically 8+ years in test automation and quality engineering
– Automation and quality tooling aligned to enterprise retail systems (exact stack not published in the posting)

Why This One Stands Out: TJX is a Fortune 500 retailer with a real, dedicated India technology arm, and a Staff Engineer title at that level is not a common find in a single day’s search. The role is attached to named business units (TJ Maxx, Marshalls) rather than vague “internal tools,” which is a good sign the work is concrete.

3. Danaher — Lead Software Test Automation Engineer

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Not specified by source
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Lead-level ownership of software test automation for a Danaher operating company (the $20B+ life sciences and diagnostics group behind Cepheid, Beckman Coulter, and Pall)
– Rare geography: Kolkata is not a typical India tech hub, which usually means less competition for the seat
– Experience required: senior/lead band, generally 8+ years
– Focus on software test automation for regulated or diagnostics-adjacent product lines, based on Danaher’s usual India engineering footprint
– Reports into a global engineering organization rather than a standalone local team

Why This One Stands Out: Danaher rarely opens Lead-level test automation seats outside Bengaluru, Pune, or Hyderabad, so a Kolkata posting is a genuine outlier. For someone based in or open to relocating to Kolkata, this cuts out most of the usual India-tech competition for a role at this seniority.

Trust Rating: High Trust

4. Revvity — Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Location: India (Remote)
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Remote
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Designs automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript, a current and in-demand pairing
– Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tooling
– Works for Revvity, the life sciences and diagnostics company spun out of the former PerkinElmer, NYSE listed
– Fully remote within India, one of the few confirmed remote listings this run
– Automation stack centers on modern web testing rather than legacy record-and-playback tools

Why This One Stands Out: Confirmed full remote status plus a modern Playwright/TypeScript stack is a combination that’s harder to find than it sounds. Most “remote” India postings turn out to be hybrid once you read the fine print; this one states India-Remote directly in the job location field.

Trust Rating: High Trust
Type: Remote

5. Comcast — Quality and Automation Engineer 3

Location: Chennai, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Not specified by source
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Builds automated test frameworks and scripts for front end, middleware, and database systems
– Makes architecture-level decisions on which tools and languages the test codebase uses, not just executing pre-written scripts
– Partners directly with software engineers on coding standards for automation code
– Experience required: 5 to 7.5 years as a QA or Test Engineer
– Sits inside Comcast’s award-recognized international engineering team based in Chennai

Why This One Stands Out: The job description gives the engineer decision rights over test codebase architecture, which is a meaningfully different scope than most “Engineer 3” titles that just mean mid-level execution. Comcast’s Chennai engineering center is an established, multi-year presence, not a fly-by-night satellite office.

6. Tide — SDET II/III (Mobile Automation)

Location: Hyderabad / Gurugram, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Hybrid (flexible “Working Out of Office” policy, work from anywhere in assigned Indian state)
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Builds automation frameworks for mobile apps using Cypress with JavaScript and Flutter using Patrol
– Collaborates with developers, product managers, and QA on test strategy and acceptance criteria
– Mobile-specific automation focus, a narrower and less commoditized skill set than generic web QA
– 3 to 7 years in QA/SDET work with mobile apps testing, Appium, Java, JavaScript, Selenium
– Benefits include paid volunteering leave, sabbatical leave, and genuinely flexible location policy within India

Why This One Stands Out: Tide is a real, funded UK neobank with an established Hyderabad technology center, and this is one of the few mobile-automation-specific SDET roles in the mix rather than another generic web QA posting. The stated flexibility policy (work from any assigned Indian state, or abroad for up to 90 days) is unusually concrete for a fintech.

Trust Rating: High Trust
Type: Hybrid

7. Kaseya — Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Employment Type: Full time
Remote / Hybrid / Onsite: Not specified by source
Posted: Recent, exact timing not shown by source

Job Description Summary:
– Designs, builds, and maintains automated test scripts meant to be reusable and reliable, not throwaway scripts
– Owns bug identification, documentation, and tracking through to resolution
– Works directly with development on design and specification reviews so quality gets built in early
– Collaborates with the wider QA team on test strategy and planning
– Senior-level role at an established IT infrastructure and cybersecurity software vendor serving 20+ countries

Why This One Stands Out: Kaseya is past the “should I trust this company” question; it’s an established MSP software vendor with a large India presence and an internal promote-from-within track record (its own careers page names a dedicated learning platform and mentorship program). This listing gives an SDET a seat at the design review table rather than handing them a finished spec to test against.

Trust Rating: High Trust
Type: Not specified

Additional Insights

Funnel: Roughly 45 to 50 candidate postings were surfaced across Naukri, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Workday-hosted career sites, Greenhouse, Lever, and company career pages. About 20 were dropped as exact duplicates of the 77 jobs already logged across the prior 11 runs (August 20 through August 30). Another 10 to 12 were dropped for Low or unclear trust: several “Jobgether”-branded Lever listings read as recruiter/staffing reposts of the same generic SDET template across multiple unrelated companies, which fails the “real team, real product” signal, and a couple of smaller-brand listings (MetAntz, a few BPO-style Concentrix postings) did not have enough visible company signal to clear a Medium Trust bar confidently. The remaining pool of roughly 15 to 18 clean, non-duplicate, verifiable postings was ranked, and the seven above scored highest.

Pattern worth flagging: Mobile-specific test automation (Appium, Cypress+Flutter/Patrol, Playwright+TypeScript) showed up more this run than in the prior week’s reports, which had leaned heavily toward generic Selenium/Java SDET postings. Salary figures were disclosed directly on the job posting itself for none of the seven finalists; where compensation appeared at all, it came from aggregator estimates (Glassdoor, Naukri) rather than the employer, so salary visibility across this batch is genuinely weak and I’m not dressing that up.

Duplicate detection status: Full memory was available. The stored log at C:\Test Metry Jobs\dedupe-log.json contains 77 previously reported jobs across 11 runs (August 20 to August 30, 2026). All seven jobs in this report were checked against that list on company, title, and location, and none matched. The log has been updated with this run’s seven jobs for the next invocation to check against.
